Not available on Walnut styles. All of our hand-applied finishes require multiple steps from our skilled American artisans. As we a result, each piece will be unique with variations in color, shading, burnishing, distressing, crackle and/or texture. Each piece is treated as a true work of art, one-of-a-kind pieces that are rich in beauty and personality. To preserve this character, we offer Fairshield+ as a standard application on all upholstery finishes. This clear, protective topcoat varnish forms a chemically cross-linked barrier that is more resistant to wear and more impervious to moisture and commercial cleaning materials. Fairshield+ is also formulated with UV inhibitors to reduce the harmful effects of sunlight and features silver ion technology (an antimicrobial agent) to help preserve the finish and protect against mold, mildew, fungus, and odor-causing bacteria. Our Casegood finishes for Monogram feature a conversion varnish topcoat.
